Club Mission

The MRU History Collective exists to provide a safe collaborative environment for students who have an interest in history, specifically registered in a major or minor in history at MRU. To propose open discussions and activities to meet, collaborate and share experiences/ideas. To promote historical inquiry, discussion, and engagement through events, lectures, workshops, and collaborative research projects.

Club Description

<span data-sheets-root="1">The MRU History Collective will hold events that are engaging and insightful for students' future experiences and career; collective aims to connect students with academic and public history resources, encourage critical thinking about the past and its relevance today, and provide a platform for student-led historical initiatives. Welcoming space for history students to meet, collaborate and have fun. Open to all students registered in a major/minor in history, the collective supports interdisciplinary collaboration and seeks to create an accessible space for learning, dialogue, and historical exploration.</span>
