To carry out our mission, the MRU Birding Club hosts birdwatching outings, educational meetups, and campus events that invite students of all experience levels to learn and explore together. We focus on building community, promoting ethical birding, and encouraging awareness of local conservation efforts.
We strive to inspire curiosity, mindfulness in nature, and a deeper appreciation for the wildlife that exists around not just our campus, but our entire city. Club activities include guided walks, bird identification workshops, guest speakers, photography and field challenges, and participation in citizen science projects such as bird counts.
