Club Mission
The MRU Model United Nations exists to provide a space for students to practice debate, diplomacy, writing, research, and public speaking. Our goal is to foster an environment in which students learn about and engage in politics and foreign relations through the forum of a Model United Nations (MUN). We aim to uphold the fundamental principles of equality, inclusivity, and freedom of expression during our debates and conduct.
Club Description
The MRUMUN will seek to educate students on diplomacy and international relations primarily through the forums of Model UN Conferences. We engage with these conferences in numerous ways. We send students to attend conferences, provincially, nationally, and internationally. We also host them here at Mount Royal.
