Club Mission
The MRU Model United Nations exists to provide a space for students to practice debate, diplomacy, writing, research, and public speaking. Our goal is to foster an environment in which students learn about and engage in politics and foreign relations through the forum of a Model United Nations (MUN). We aim to uphold the fundamental principles of equality, inclusivity, and freedom of expression during our debates and conduct.
Club Description
Hold regular meetings to educate students on Model United Nations (MUN) conferences
Attend local and national MUN conferences
Develop the public speaking, debate, and writing skills of MUN members
Inspire MRU students to take interest in public policy and politics
Inspire MRU students to take an interest in global politics and current events
