Club Mission

The Children's Care Collective will prioritize creating a space for current and prospective undergraduate student volunteers of the Alberta Children's Hospital (inpatient experience, retail and wayfinding) to connect with each other, seek invaluable support in the application process for volunteering with the Alberta Health Services, gain exposure to ongoing research at the ACHRI through its affiliations with research programs and raise funds through monthly campaigns for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. This will foster the sense of community with existing and prospective undergraduate student volunteers, to share their experiences with, and act as mentors to one-another, benefiting students interested in pursuing extracurricular activities adjacent to the healthcare system. Additionally, the CCC will offer unique opportunities through the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation Volunteer program, these opportunities are on a ""as needs and as available"" basis with the ACHFV, in compliance with the ACHFV program policies and procedures, for undergraduate students to volunteer with the ACHFV.
