The Jazz Club will practice and perform jazz selections in rehearsal and in front of an audience while informing audience members of the history and brief theory behind the selections. The Jazz Club will provide SAMRU members with a musical and creative outlet, as well as free and ticketed performances for public and private viewing. Audiences will gain knowledge about the history and sound of selected performance pieces while appreciating the effort that members have dedicated to rehearsals.
