Mission Statement: Where music thrives, musicians grow, and community flourishes.

The MRU Ski & Snowboard Club was founded in 2013 by 5 awesome friends. They came together to help start building a community that would change the MRU campus for the better. Since then, we pride ourselves on building a fun and inviting community that everyone feels apart of.
The MRU Ski Club is based on 4 major pillars:
Making Friendships,
Having Fun,
Leaving a Legacy,
and Building a Community.
Through these four pillars our VISION was born: “To bring our community together through the creation of awesome social events and ski events available for everyone.

The Palestinian Cultural Club (PCC) exists to celebrate, preserve, and share the richness of Palestinian and Middle Eastern culture with the Mount Royal University community. Our mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming space where students of all ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds can come together to explore art, music, cuisine, fashion, and language through interactive cultural experiences.
PCC’s goal is to promote cultural appreciation and understanding by showcasing traditions that highlight creativity, community, and resilience. Through events such as tatreez (embroidery) nights, cultural galas, food tastings, art exhibits, and language workshops, the club aims to foster meaningful cross-cultural connections and celebrate diversity on campus.
PCC is focused solely on cultural education and artistic expression, providing SAMRU members with opportunities for connection, creativity, and cultural exchange in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

To provide a framework in which Christianity can be presented to the campus community and further investigated by both those interested and those committed to Jesus Christ. In fulfilling this purpose we will:
Offer presentations, forums, lectures, debates, seminars, videos, etc which stimulate and facilitate students to consider questions such as: Does God exist? Can science be reconciled to God? Can I be both successful and happy? How can I know God personally?
Provide opportunities for interested students to discuss the Christian response to these questions. We welcome discussion from all students whether they are atheist, agnostic, Christian, or of any other religious belief.
Emphasize the responsibility and privilege of every Christian to effectively, respectfully, and lovingly communicate with others his or her personal faith in Jesus Christ.

– To bring MRU students within the LGBTQIA2S+ community together as a means of mutual support for one another. In doing so, we will act as a resource to direct students to supports on and off campus, provide peer support with one another, and create a safe gathering space.
– To foster healthy friendships within the campus community and highlight queer visibility on campus.
